Megastar Chiranjeevi is coming up with Bholaa Shankar, his second release of the year, after the super-successful Waltair Veerayya, which was released for Sankranthi this year. Bholaa Shankar is a remake of the Tamil film Vedhalam and is directed by Meher Ramesh. The movie is all set to be released on August 11th, and features Tamannaah as the leading lady, while Keerthy Suresh will be seen as Chiru’s sister in the film.
From the trailer of Bholaa Shankar, it is clear that Chiru will be seen as Pawan’s fan in the film, and that he will be imitating Pawan in a few scenes as well. This was trolled by many at the time of the trailer’s release, and even now as well.
This raises many questions regarding the confidence of the makers on the film and its performance at the box office. There is no doubt that Pawan has a huge craze among audiences, but why does Chiru have to imitate his own brother? Is it because he doesn’t believe in his own stardom anymore?
