There is no Telugu person who does not love the songs of musical legend AR Rahman. However.. Rahman doesn’t mostly do Telugu movies.. he has got a lot of fans here with the songs of his translated films. And.. if Rahman has to mention Telugu movies.. Bappilahiri and Raj Koti were the music directors of Balakrishna starrer ‘Nippuravva’ in 1993. Rahman composed the background score for this movie.
After that he composed music for films like Krishnan Raju’s ‘Palnati Paurusham’, Venkatesh’s ‘Super Police’ and Rajasekhar’s ‘Gang Master’. After these films, he thrilled the Telugu audience with films like ‘Nee Manasu Naaku Thelusu, Nani, Ye Maaya Chesaave, Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo’. However..most of these are only Tamil-Telugu bilinguals. After a long gap, Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Komaram Puli’ is the only film in which Rahman worked in Telugu.
