SRK surpasses RRR and Baahubali-2.

Shah Rukh Khan is not only familiar for those who watch Hindi movies, he has a good following here in the South too.

Shah Rukh made his last outing with a huge action thriller ‘Pathaan’. The movie went ahead for release on January 25 amidst boycott trends is creating a sensation at the box office.

The movie has a world-wide release on 25th January in 7700 screens out of which 5200 in India, 2500 overseas is doing well. This movie was released simultaneously in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and other languages.

Taking the next place after Baahubali 2 (Hindi), this movie showed its strength in terms of box office bookings. Previously,  6.50 lakh tickets were booked for Baahubali 2 (Hindi) while 5.56 lakh tickets were booked for ‘Pathaan’ followed by KGF 2.

RRR has grossed $14.3 million dollars in the US, says trade Pandits. Pathan recently broke RRR and Baahubali 2 records by collecting $14.4 million dollars.

Trade sources say that the film has collected gross in the range of 835 crores worldwide in 13 days i.e. 101.49 million in American dollars.

 It seems that the popular streaming app Amazon Prime Video has acquired the streaming rights of ‘Pathaan’, which is making a massacre at the box office in an unexpected range.
