Samajavaragamana Review

Sree Vishnu is one of the most promising actors in Tollywood and has impressed audiences with various interesting films throughout his career so far.

However, he has delivered a string of flops in recent times and is now back with Samajavaragamana, which was released today. Let’s see how this film has turned out to be.

Story:
The story is about Balu, who sells tickets in a multiplex, and his father, Uma, who is trying to get a Bachelor’s degree at this age. Balu’s life changes when Sarayu, a girl that Uma meets during his Bachelor’s exams, moves to his house. Why and how does Balu’s life change because of this forms the rest of the story.

Analysis:
Sree Vishnu is an experimental actor, which reflects very well in his filmography. He has done a wide variety of films so far, but his strongest genre is comedy. This can be very well seen in Samajavaragamana, which is a comedy entertainer. He is effortless and lively in Samajavaragamana. His comedy timing is on point, and so are his spontaneous comedy dialogues and punches. He is good in emotional scenes as well.

Naresh, who is seen as Uma, Balu’s father in the film, entertains the audience thoroughly. He once again proves how versatile he is, as an actor. His dressing style and his body language are enough to make the audiences laugh, and he perfectly suits the role of someone trying to clear their Bachelor’s degree at an older age, and does the part very well even.

Leading lady Reba has a good role in the film, is seen throughout the film, and is not limited to just a few scenes, which is usually the case with leading ladies in comedy movies. She does her part well and is even impressive with her dance moves in songs.

The director, Ram Abbaraju, does a decent job with Samajavaragamana and has molded it into a good and enjoyable entertainer. He has come up with an entertaining first half that doesn’t lag anywhere and has very good pacing. In the second half, however, the director seems to have struggled with the direction in which he wanted to go, which affects the pacing and the narration as well.

The technical aspects of the film, like the background score and the cinematography, are good enough, and complement the film well enough. The production design is also good.

Finally: The movie is a laugh riot, which has some really hilarious moments. The actors are perfectly cast in their roles, making the film a must and good watch.
