In the poster of this movie which was released as a Tamil New Year special, Suriya in the past and Surya in the present are shown facing each other. With this poster, director Siva said without saying that the story of this movie is going to be a combination of past and present.
Disha Patani and Bobby Deol are playing pivotal roles in this film directed by Siva as a huge period action film. This movie is being produced by KE Gnanavel Raja, Vamsi and Pramod under the banners of Studio Green and UV Creations with a huge budget. ‘Kanguva’, which is being made in ten languages, will also come before the audience in three parts.
