Election heat to affect Sankranthi 2024?

It is very well known that the general elections of Telangana are scheduled to be held in January 2024. It is also being said that there are high chances for the general elections of Andhra Pradesh might also take place in the same month. This means that the elections could take place sometime near Sankranthi.

Sankranthi is the biggest festival season for Tollywood, where a number of films are usually released. For Sankranthi 2024, a number of films, including Project K, Guntur Karam, Ustaad Bhagat Singh, Pushpa 2, and Indian 2 are scheduled.

While some films may drop out of this race, it is still possible for several films to still arrive on the same date. With the elections set to take place at the same time, it is expected that these releases might face the election heat.
