Puri pinned all hopes on Ram Pothineni

Actor Ram Pothineni and Puri Jagannath raise the toast as they celebrate two years of their successful film ‘iSmart Shankar’. The movie which released on this day two years ago, created a storm at the box office as it scripted success for both actor Ram and director Puri Jagannath.

However, the director’s life turned upside down after the debacle of Vijay Devarakonda’s pan Indian project, Liger. After Liger getting bombed at the box office, the Tollywood actors started to withdraw their upcoming projects with Puri Jagannath.

Megstar Chiranjeevi who signed an action drama with Puri has backed off and the project got shelved. Vijay Devarakonda who signed Jana Gana Mana which had a grand launch last year has now also been shelved.

It is now heard that only ram Pothineni is the only option left for Puri. They signed signed for a project which is earlier said to be the sequel of their former hit iSmart Shankar. According to the media sources, it is heard that this project is a fresh project and will have nothing to do with their previous hit. Puri has now pinned all his hopes on his project with Ram Pothineni.

Ram Pothineni, who is currently busy in the shooting of upcoming flick tentatively #BoyapatiRAPO, is expected to join the sets of Puri’s project after the release of #BoyapatiRAPO. The cast and crew of this project are awaited.
