PAPA locks it’s OTT Partner

The Telugu romantic drama movie ‘Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi’ was released in theatres on 17th March 2023. The film was written and directed by Srinivas Avasarala featuring  Naga Shaurya and Malavika Nair in the lead roles.

Touted to be a romantic entertainer, Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi is said to be a love story about a young couple who get married. The story is about how they deal with their different ways of thinking and keep their relationship together. 

The film released focusing the weekend failed to attract the audience in big time because of it’s routine content.

PAPA received mixed reviews which affected the weekend collections badly. As there are no remarkable films this weekend which have the capability to get the audience back to theatres, movie goers and audience are focusing on this week’s OTT content.

As per the latest information, the post-theatrical streaming rights for ‘Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi’ have already been bagged by an OTT platform.

The movie will start streaming on the SunNXT OTT platform after it will complete its theatrical run. The exact OTT release is not confirmed yet, but it should depend on how well it performs in theatres in the near future.

Besides Sun NXT being the streaming partner for ‘Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi’, the film’s satellite rights have been acquired by the Telugu entertainment television channel Gemini TV. Stay tuned to Telugu70MM for the official OTT release date.
