Custody first-week collections- Disappointing and Below par

Custody is Naga Chaitanya’s latest film which has failed to open big at the box office. There was a lot of hype for this film as the promotions were quite strong by the makers.

Well, the film has completed a week of its run at the box office and has made only six crores. This is a very low amount as the makers needed over 12 crores to be in a safe zone.

The producers will not lose big money as they have sold the rights for a decent amount. But the distributors will lose money and a big one at it. Chay Akkineni was seen as a police constable in this film.

Naga Chaitanya and his brother Akhil have both scored flops this year along with dad Nagarjuna. So, it is a tough time for the Akkineni family at the box office. We need to see what film Chay Akkineni chooses next.
