What’s the story behind Yash’s rejection?

Kollywood hero Yash got a pan-Indian recognition with the grand success of the KGF franchise, directed by Prashant Neel. The actor was famously approached to play the part of Ravana in the Ramayana which features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama.

It was reported that Yash was very much intrested in playing the part and that he would give his nod for the part. It is now being said that Yash’s team advised the actor against the same, as a result of which the actor is said to have turned down the role.

The main reason for this is being stated as Yash not wanting to hurt his fans’ sentiments. However, it is also being said that the actor is being careful with such pan-Indian projects.
