It is very well known that there was no update about Salaar until the release of Adipurush, and within just a few weeks of the release of Adipurush, the teaser of Salaar was dropped, which got everyone’s expectations on the film sky high.
Salaar sees the return of Prabhas to the mass, action genre after the Baahubali franchise, which made him a pan-Indian Superstar, and given that it is helmed by Prashant Neel, of the KGF franchise fame, there have been naturally high expectations on the film since the beginning. The promotions for Salaar are expected to begin full swing from the latter half of August or the beginning of September, given that the film is scheduled to be released on September 28th.
On the other hand, it is now being said that no updates from Prabhas’s other film, Kalki, directed by Nag Ashwin, will not be released until the release of Salaar, so as to give that space and breathing area for the film.
The first glimpse of Kalki was released recently, at the San Diego Comic-Con event, and the glimpse has been met with universal praise. The official release date of the film is yet to be announced.
