On the occasion of his birthday yesterday, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming movies were announced. His 156th film, to be produced by his daughter, was announced, along with Bimbisara director Vassishta’s film.
The most interesting part of this is that the director of the film produced by Chiru’s daughter Sushmita was not announced.
Earlier, it was said that Kalyan Krishna would be directing this film, with the film said to be a remake of the Malayalam film Bro Daddy. Given that Bholaa Shankar, which happens to be a remake as well, turned out to be a massive disaster, Chiru is said to have put this on hold, and as such, the director for the film hasn’t been announced.
There’s no clarity over whether Kalyan Krishna has been asked to work on another script, or if he’s not a part of the film anymore. It is definitely going to be interesting to see how this film turn out to be, and who the director will end up being, and if the film will turn out to be a remake or an original.
