The problem of star heroes with directors

Star heroes are a huge force to be reckoned with for directors because there’s a lot of baggage that usually comes with them, in the form of fans and even their requirements. As such, most directors are said to be very careful when teaming up with star heroes.

Sometimes, star heroes even go to the extent of ghost-directing their own projects and changing the scripts of their projects as well. The news of this doesn’t always explicitly come out, but it is always heard as hearsay. There are many such ghost directors in the form of star heroes in Tollywood.

Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu, Nani, NTR and so many others. NTR has not been known to be someone who meddled with the script and direction of the film in the past, but following his global recognition, the actor is now said to be focusing on making sure that nothing goes wrong in his upcoming film Devara.

When a star hero wants to direct his own film, it is to be wondered why they want directors to begin with.
