Pushpa: The Rise was a pan-Indian movie from the very beginning, and was advertised as such even, even though there weren’t a lot of promotions nationwide.
Despite that, owing to the content of the film, the movie turned out to be a massive success. Pushpa was released in December 2021, and director Sukumar worked on the script of the second movie all throughout 2022.
The shooting of Pushpa: The Rule is currently underway and has a lot of expectations on it, owing to the grand success of the first. The second film’s music album has already fetched the makers a whopping price, as per reports. T Series is said to have bought the rights for the album in all languages for Rs. 45 Crores.
Considering that RRR’s music album fetched Rs. 30 Crores, Pushpa 2 is already turning out to be a massively profitable venture for the makers.
