Pawan Kalyan and Sai Dharam Tej teamed up for the first time for a film, in the form of BRO, directed by Samuthirakani. Because the movie is a remake of the Tamil film Vinodhaya Sitham, there hasn’t been enough buzz surrounding the film since day one. However, upon release, the film tanked at the box office, because it didn’t offer anything worthwhile to the audiences.
On the other hand, Baby, headlined by Anand Deverakonda, Viraj Ashwin, and Vaishnavi Chaitanya, has been running well since the day it was released. The movie has now even overtaken BRO in terms of collections, with Baby getting more collections than BRO on Monday and Tuesday.
BRO is expected to tank further down at the box office before the end of this week, while Baby is expected to be strong for at least the next week end. On the whole, BRO is a strong lesson for every filmmaker in Tollywood.
