Huge targets for Chiranjeevi and NTR movies

It can be said that the overseas market is a boon for the Telugu film industry. Over the last few years, our films have been making money in overseas. And.. the overseas targets for the upcoming two movies from Telugu to Pan India level are huge. Among these, young tiger NTR ‘Devara’ should be mentioned first. There is a lot of positive buzz around the world about ‘Devara’ which is slated to release in April as a Ugadi gift. NTR is going to mesmerize in a Never Before action avatar in this high voltage action thriller being directed by Koratala Siva.Hamsini Entertainment has acquired the overseas rights of the latest movie ‘Devara’. This deal is worth Rs.27 crore. In other words, to achieve ‘Devara’ break even in overseas, it is necessary to collect 5 to 5.5 million dollars.


On the other hand, the overseas rights for Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Vishwambhara’ have been sold. Sarigama Cinemas has acquired the overseas rights of this socio-fantasy movie, which is being made by UV Creations with a huge budget, for Rs.18 crores. It seems that Chiranjeevi’s role is going to be with different shades in this movie which is being directed by Vashishta of ‘Bimbisara’ fame. Megastar will be seen as an adventurer who will share his trademark comedy.Chiranjeevi will soon participate in the shoot of this movie, which has already been partially shot.
