This movie which came as a family, mass and action oriented movie became a super hit and not only as a hero but also as a producer. It should be said that Kalyan Ram’s adventure is ‘Athanokkade’.

Those who stand as heroes.. not only to the people.. they should also be known to the industry. With the hit ‘Athanokkade’, outside production houses again competed for Kalyan Ram. ‘Asaadhyudu’ which came in that order was also impressive. After some gap, director Teja once again made a self-directed movie ‘Lakshmi Kalyanam’ starring Kalyan Ram. Kajal Aggarwal was introduced as the heroine with the film itself.

Kalyan Ram rose in his career by standing up for himself. Even though he lost some movies but never lost his courage. This is the reason why he has given another top director to Telugu cinema. He got another blockbuster with the movie ‘Pataas’. It must be said that a new art has been added in Kalyan Ram’s career since ‘Pataas’. This movie is definitely a different subject for Kalyan Ram. A different body language is seen. That’s why it felt new to the audience.Apart from this, he also impressed with his comedy timing. He produced the film ‘Kick-2’ under the direction of Surender Reddy and hero Ravi Teja with the passion given by ‘Pataas’. ‘Kick-2’ did not meet expectations. He also impressed in the role of father in NTR’s biopic. The later ‘Yenthamanchivadavura’ was not impressed. But Kalyan Ram put an end to stereotypical roles. He preferred different stories. After ‘Bimbisara’, Kalyan Ram brought another experimental film called ‘Amigos’ to the audience. Kalyan Ram played a triple role in this movie. And.. he came as ‘devil’ in the backdrop of British India and scored another hit in his account.

Kalyan Ram is currently acting in his 21st film directed by Pradeep Chilukuri. This movie is jointly produced by Ashok Vardhan Muppa and Sunil Balusu. While Sai Manjrekar is acting as Kalyan Ram’s partner in this movie, lady superstar Vijayashanthi will be seen in the other key role.
