A friendship that has remained intact for decades

Rare are the protagonists who have achieved unbroken stardom for decades. Collection King Mohan Babu and Superstar Rajinikanth are the ones who do not belong to such category. It is remarkable that both these legendary actors made their silver screen entry in the same year.

Mohan Babu, who started his career as an assistant director, made his debut as a hero with the film ‘Swargam Narakam’ released in 1975. ‘Swargam Narakam’ directed by Dasari Narayana Rao was a great success. Since then, Mohan Babu is still entertaining with his unique performance.

Rajinikanth made his silver screen entry in 1975 with the Tamil film ‘Apoorva Ragangal’ directed by K. Balachander. The following year, Rajinikanth’s first Telugu film ‘Anthuleni Katha’ was released. Rajinikanth and Mohan Babu became good friends as they entered the industry at the same time. With that friendship, the Tamil superstar later appeared in a guest role in Mohan Babu’s ‘Pedarayudu’.

After a long time friends Rajinikanth and Mohan Babu buzzed in the same frame. A photo of him sitting side by side on a private flight is doing the rounds on social media.
