Young actress Kriti Shetty scored blockbuster with Uppena, and the actress became overnight star heroine and was flooded with bunch of offers from the Telugu film industry. Later Shyam Singha Roy and Bangarraju also turned to be money spinners and collected big numbers at the box office by fetching huge name and fame.
The actress demanded fat pay-cheques for her upcoming projects. But luck didn’t last long for the young beauty as her later outings Warrior, Macherla Niyojakavargam, AA Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali bombed at the box office.
Kriti is currently facing hard times and maintaining low profile as there as no films handy in Telugu, Seems that the actress shifted her focus to Kollywood and Mollywood. Kriti Shetty signed a film with Jayam Ravi as the lead. Now the latest reports confirm that the actress will romance talented actor Karthi in her next. She also signed a Malayalam film titled ‘Ajayante Randam Moshanam’ starring Tovino Thomas.
The untitled movie will be directed by Nalan Kumaraswamy of Soodhu Kavvum fame and produced by Gnanavel Raja under Studio Green banner. More details about the project will be revealed soon. As of now, Kriti has Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Custody’ which is ready for release and an untitled film with Sharwanand and the actress was now not considered for Telugu films.
