The trailer of Ram Pothineni’s upcoming film, Skanda, directed by Boyapati Srinu, has been released today. The movie features Sree Leela as the leading lady, while Thaman is the music director. A lot of veteran actors can be seen in supporting roles, including Srikanth and Gauthami, among others.
The trailer doesn’t reveal a lot about the plot but presents Ram in an out-and-out mass avatar, something that audiences have never seen him in before. He looks rugged and raw and sports a Telangana accent in the film. Sree Leela’s character is also not revealed, but it looks as though she may not have a lot to do in the film.
There’s a lot of action in the film, with Boyapati’s signature high octane, bloody action sequences sprinkled throughout the trailer, which also has good background music by Thaman. The movie seems interesting, with a lot of punch dialogues packed within it. Set to be released on September 15th, if the film manages to get an average talk, it could turn out to be a commercial success.
