OTTs entering a danger zone?

The main strength of OTT platforms should be that they need to be accessible to as many viewers as possible, and that’s when they can make the most of anything. However, OTT platforms are running behind generating more revenues, which might turn out to be a major problem for them.

Netflix has now infamously announced that password sharing has been stopped for anyone apart from the immediate family, and this might turn out to be a major problem for the company, because it could stand to lose out on a lot of customers as a result.

Apart from that, other platforms are increasing their prices, and the Indian audience, which is domeinated by middle class families, would not be interested in paying such a huge amount for entertainment, all of which will backfire at the OTT platforms and put them in danger.
