Tollywood has now finally made it to the list of the film industries in the country to have won the National award for Best actor, with Allu Arjun having been announced as the best actor for his performance in Pushpa: The Rise.
While this award has raised a lot of eyebrows, with many arguing that there were other more deserving choices, it cannot be denied that this is a moment of huge pride for every Telugu person.
At the same time, the fact that RRR won eight awards is also praise and noteworthy, something that should never be forgotten. This is a huge step in the right direction for Tollywood, which was often overlooked by the jury at the National Awards.
