The month of August had a lot of hopes for moviegoers and filmmakers alike, as several interesting films and films headlined by stars or promising actors were set to be released. The last week of August has come to an end, and with that, the last releases for August have also come to an end.
The last releases of August include Gaandeevadhari Arjuna and Bedurulanka 2012. While there were just alright expectations on both, it was expected that Gaandeevadhari Arjuna would perform better than Bedurulanka, because of the presence of Varun Tej. However, the film fell flat upon its release, and Bedurulanka has been getting a good response.
Before that, Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan came up with Bhola Shankar and BRO, both of which turned out to be disappointments, with Bhola Shankar turning out to be an absolute dud. On the whole, August has turned out to be quite disastrous for Tollywood, and it is to be seen what September has in store.
