A clarity on Pawan’s statements

Actor turned politician Pawan Kalyan openly talked about the restrictions the Tamil film industry has introduced regarding the usage of only Tamil workers for films heron, and said that the industry should encourage talent from other states as well, which would result in the growth of the industry.

Responding to these statements, actor Nasser said that the Tamil film industry has not put any restrictions when it comes to using talent from other states, but has only suggested using Tamil talent as a priority, and more often. He also said that the industry would not be able to keep up with the current trend if they did not collaborate with talent from outside the state.

The actor went on to say that it is only when people from all over the country come together that can they produce films like Baahubali and RRR, which went on to achieve pan-Indian success, and said that they should make more such films, adding that the Tamil industry has always encouraged talent from other states.
