Shivaratri Movies Collection Details

Among the films released as a gift on Shivratri, the movie ‘Gaami’ is gaining momentum with good positive talk. This is a movie where young and talented hero Vishwak Sen plays the role of Aghora. Chandini Chaudhary appeared in another key role. Directed by Debut director Vidyadhar Kaghya.. This movie made with crowd funding created tremendous buzz before its release.
As far as the pre-release business of the film ‘Gaami’ is concerned.. In Nizam Rs. 3.50 crores, in seeded Rs. 1.20 crores, the rest of Andhra Pradesh combined at Rs. 3.50 crore business done. Totally in Telugu it was sold for Rs. 8.20 crores . Also, in Karnataka , rest of India and overseas Rs. 2 crores. Together with these, the total business done for this film is Rs. 10.20 crores.


And.. on the first day ‘Gami’ collected Rs. 9.07 crores. And.. ‘Gaami’ got good openings not only in the Telugu states but also in the US. It has crossed the quarter million dollars (2 lakh 50 thousand) mark in America till yesterday. On the second day, the response to the movie ‘Gaami’ was huge. In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana together Rs. Collected up to 1.75 crore share.


Regardless of the talk, Gopichand’s movie got good collections. Same thing happened with ‘Bhimaa’. This high voltage action entertainer has grossed up to Rs.5 crores on the first day. Compared to the film ‘Gaami’, these collections are very low.
The theatrical business of ‘Bhimaa’ was around Rs.11 crores. With this.. ‘Bhimaa’ released with a break-even target of Rs. 12 crores.. is it a safe project? isn’t it is decided.


Most of the highest grossing films at the Kerala box office are those without top leads. Especially.. Mohanlal movies stand in front row. However, the movie ‘Premalu’, which shook the box office without any expectations and was made with a budget of only Rs.3 crores, collected around Rs.70 crores. Even though it has been months since its release in Malayalam, the box office run is still going on there. On the other hand, ‘Premalu’ collections are good in Telugu too.


‘Premalu’ released in Telugu on March 8 as a gift for Mahashivratri. The film, which came to the Telugu audience in the translated form, got positive talk from the first day. Extra screens are now being added to the earlier screens. However.. Comments are being heard that this is not the right release time for this movie which comes with youth content. Currently all the students are in exam mood. Film analysts say that this effect will fall on the collections of ‘Premalu’.
