Legendary clash.. Chiranjeevi-Balakrishna for tenth Sankranthi contest

Chiranjeevi – Balakrishna is the first to be remembered among the heroes who competed like roosters during Sankranti seasons. These senior heroes, who have been continuing Star Wars for almost four decades, have competed at the box office many times, but in the Sankranthi season, they have faced each other nine times so far. The Sankranti War between Chiru-Balaiya was first fought in 1985. With Balakrishna’s ‘Athmabalam’, Chiranjeevi won the ‘Chattamtho Chuttam’ competition. After that, they continued the box office war once again for Sankranthi in 1987.In 1987, Chiranjeevi’s ‘Donga Mogudu’, which came three days before Sankranti, became a super hit, but Balakrishna’s ‘Bhargava Ramadu’, which was released on January 14, failed to achieve the expected success.


Along with the year 1987.. Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna competed in the next year 1988 Sankranthi. Both the films impressed the audience immensely.


After 1997, Chiru and Balayya competed again in 2000 Sankranthi race. On January 7, 2000, Chiranjeevi competed with the film ‘Annayya’ and Balakrishna with the film ‘Vamshoddharakudu’. However.. Chiranjeevi’s ‘Annayya’ was a good success that year, but Balakrishna’s ‘Vamshoddharakudu’ failed to meet the expectations of the fans. After the 2000 Sankranthi, it clashed at the box office again in the 2001 Sankranthi.However.. Chiranjeevi’s ‘Mrugaraju’, which came with huge expectations for Sankranthi in 2001, was a flop.. Balakrishna’s ‘Narasimhanaidu’ broke new collections records in Tollywood. ‘Narasimhanaidu’ movie became a hit in the industry.


Chiranjeevi’s career has been done years in the making of the film ‘Anji’. This movie, made with the magic of graphics, was released in 2004 Sankranthi and remained a cast failure. Balakrishna’s ‘Lakshmi Narasimha’, which was released as a Sankranthi gift in the same year, was a great success. Balakrishna’s powerful dialogues in this movie made the fans whistle. Last year, he competed in Sankranthi race for the ninth time. Balakrishna’s ‘Veerasimha Reddy’ and Chiranjeevi’s ‘Waltair Veerayya’ came in a gap of one day and achieved blockbusters. And now these legendary actors are preparing to compete for the tenth time in the coming Sankranthi
. The release date of Chiranjeevi’s ‘Vishwambhara’ has already been finalized as a Sankranthi gift. Balakrishna is also thinking of bringing his upcoming film with Boyapati to Sankranthi.
