The shooting of romantic drama Kushi, starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Deverakonda, was shelved due to the actress’s illness and prior commitments. As per the latest information, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who wrapped up the shooting of the Indian schedule of Citadel, is already back to work.
The popular star has finally resumed the shooting of her highly anticipated romantic drama, Kushi. The team members, including Vijay Deverakonda and the cast and crew members gave a grand welcome to the actress by arranging a party for her on the sets of the film.
There was a cake cutting celebration, wishing Samantha on the occasion of Women’s day and also her, completing 13 years in the Telugu Film Industry.
The director took to his official Twitter handle and wrote, “The Fighter @Samanthaprabhu2 is back to #Kushi sets. Everything is going to be beautiful”. Bankrolled by Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar Y under the banner Mythri Movie Makers, the film also stars Jayaram, Sachin Khedkar, Murali Sharma, Lakshmi, Ali, Rohini, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Srikanth Iyengar, and Saranya in other pivotal roles.
