As per the latest information, another South star is set to make his Bollywood debut with his upcoming film. Sources say that Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja who is riding high with back to back successes is all set to make his Hindi debut opposite Varun Dhawan in the remake of Tamil superhit film ‘Maanadu’.
Reports say that Ravi Teja was approached by Bollywood noted producer Karan Johar for this project. There is news that Tollywood actor Rana Daggubati and Nizam Distributor Suneil Narang of Asian Cinemas have also joined for producing this film. The film said to be bi-lingual, will be released in Telugu and Hindi with Ravi Teja and Varun Dhawan stepping into the shoes of Silambarasan and SJ Surya.
The 2021 film had a successful run at the box office and received critical acclaim. Buzz is that, the makers are working on adapting the script to cater to the sensibilities of Telugu and Hindi audiences. The ‘Maanadu’ remake will be mounted on a much larger scale than the original.
