Virupaksha starring Sai Dharam Tej and Samyuktha in the lead roles was released on April 21st and received good response from the critics and audience as well. the audience are eager to watch the technical excellence and the thrilling impact involved in the movie.
The latest information is that the movie grossed a massive amount of 50 crores worldwide in just four days which is the rare feat for any Sai Dharam Tej’s film tilll date. The film surpassed break even in many centres and is heading towards carrer’s biggest grosser within the first week of it’s release.
Even the trade circles are unable to guess the numbers as the film is performing very well at the box office. The movie cleared the monday test in both the Telugu states with the share of 24 crores and achieved break even mark.
Initially the movie was planned as a Pan Indian film, but at the last minute the makers changed their decision and decided to release the film in only Telugu states and later release the film in other languages after watching the response from Telugu states.
