The trailer of young actor Karthikeya’s upcoming film, Bedurulanka, has been released today. The movie is based on the 2012 hoax, which stated that the world would end on the 21st of December, 2012. However, this did not come to pass, but it did manage to get everyone so much excited that a ton of movie were made on the concept, all over the world, in various languages.
There hasn’t been a film based on this hoax in Telugu yet, but the timing of the movie seems a bit too odd right now. Keeping that aside, let’s discuss how the trailer is. Directed by Clax, Bedurulanka is a village where some section of people gang up and spread rumors about the world really ending on the said date, and manipulate the people of the village into trusting them to make sure that their village would not end. Karthikeya’s Shiva comes to this village for some reason, and he seems to stir up a lot of derma that doesn’t sit well with those trying to manipulate the villagers.
The films seems to be about Shiva trying to make the people of the village see the truth. There seems to be a lot of entertainment and a little bit of thriller elements too. The film is all set to be released on the 25th of August, and let’s see how the film turns out to be.
