The shooting of Pushpa 2, directed by Sukumar and featuring Allu Arjun in the lead role, commenced earlier this year, and two schedules have been wrapped up so far, which took place in the Maredumilli forests. The next schedule of the film is yet to begin and will take place in Thailand.
Sources have revealed that the next schedule will begin after Sukumar is done with some new changes that he is making to the script, where he is trying to incorporate some more action into the story. Sukumar already spent over a year making changes and fine-tuning the script, in 2022, so these new changes come as a surprise.
With more changes being done to the script, it is being said that the film may not arrive in the summer of 2024, and would take a little more time to be released. Pushpa: The Rule will feature all the original cast, with a set of new cast as well. Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil will be seen as the antagonist in the film, in which Rashmika Mandanna is the leading lady.
