The movie ‘Yatra’ came out two months before the 2019 elections. Director Mahi.V.Raghav has made this film in the background of late Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s Padayatra. Now ‘Yatra 2’ is coming before the 2024 elections. ‘Yatra 2’ is being made based on the political events that took place in Andhra Pradesh from 2009 to 2019. Mammootty, who appeared as Rajasekhar Reddy in the movie ‘Yatra’, will entertain in the same role in the sequel. Jagan is played by Tamil actor Jeeva.
The date for the teaser release of the movie ‘Yatra 2’ which is jointly produced by Three Autumn Leaves, V Celluloid and Shiva Meka has been fixed. The team has released a special poster that the teaser of this movie is going to be released on January 5 at 11 am. In this poster, Mammootty as YSR and Jagan are impressive. Mahesh Manjrekar is playing the role of Chandrababu in this movie. ‘Yatra 2’ is all set to release on February 8.
