Agent is one of the biggest disasters of Tollywood this year, which was made on a massive budget. The film features Akhil Akkineni in the lead role and is directed by Surender Reddy. There were apprehensions about the film prior to its release, but nevertheless, there were still some hopes on the film.
Upon its release, the film turned out to be a huge disaster, and couldn’t stay in theatres for even a week. Producer Anil Sunkara even took to Twitter after the film turned out to be a colossal disaster. He said that they shouldn’t have started shooting for the film without a proper script.
On the other hand, the film’s OTT release has been much delayed. Sony Liv acquired the streaming rights of the film, but there’s not been any release date announcement yet. Everyone is wondering why this is, and if Sony wants to avoid further criticism of the film.
