The Telugu version trailer of the Tamil film Maamannan, titled Nayakudu in Telugu, has been released today. The film is directed by Mari Selvaraj and features Udayanithi Stalin, Vadivelu, Fahadh Faasil, and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles.
The trailer of the film doesn’t give a lot away, but well established that it is a film that has political undertones, and a lot of grueling violence attached to it, while also having a lot of rawness that seems to be inspired by real-life, with a very deep backstory attached to each and every character.
Director Mari Selvaraj is very well known for his movies that have a social and political undertone, like that seen in Karnan, featuring Dhanush in the lead role. Thus, there are good expectations for this film as well, which sees Vadivelu don a serious role. The movie is all set to be released on 14th July.
