There is no doubt in the fact that director Nag Ashwin has conceptualized his upcoming film Kalki on a grand scale, and is making it in such a manner as well. Since the beginning, he said that the movie is going to have a pan-world appeal, and from the first glimpse that was shown of the movie, at the recently held Comic Con, it is clear that he has not backed down when it came to realizing his vision.
As is already known, Prabhas is the leading man in this film, in which Deepika Padukone will be seen as the leading lady, while Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in a key role. Prior to the Comic-Con event, it was announced that Kamal Haasan will be playing the role of the lead antagonist in the film, which added a lot more intrigue to the film.
It has now been reported that Kamal will officially be joining the sets of Kalki from next week, in Hyderabad’s Ramoji Film City. He will be joining the latest schedule of Kalki, which is scheduled to be released next year.
