Director Sukumar’s Pushpa, featuring Allu Arjun in the lead role, was released in December 2021. The film was released all over India and turned out to be a massive success, giving Allu Arjun a pan-Indian image. Following the massive success of the film, the second one has been amped up by the makers.
Sukumar had worked on the script of the second part of the film all through 2022, with the shooting of the film having started this year. The film completed a couple of schedules as of now, but is currently on break.
The makers are said to be in no rush to complete the film, and it is also being said that the film might be released in Summer 2024, owing to the pace at which things are currently taking place.
