Why are films being dragged into politics?

The world of politics and the world of cinema has always been close to each other since time immemorial, with famous film personalities even turning out to be Chief Ministers of states, including the legendary NT Rama Rao. As such, the bonding between cinema and politics grew further.

Having said that, politics are constantly dragged into cinema, for commercials or other purposes. From propaganda to other requirements, cinema is often used as a medium to talk about an individual’s political opinions and rub them in the face of the public.

Cinema is entertainment, and it has always been that way since the beginning. As such, one needs to wonder how right it is to include politics in films, and how right it is to use cinema as a machine to go to the people and manipulate them into supporting on group and opposing the other.
