Tamil actor Suriya has a good fan base in the Telugu states, thanks to the many movies that he has been seen in so far. He managed to impress the audiences with his varied performances through various films, all of which were dubbed into Telugu from Tamil.
For a while now, there have been speculations and rumors regarding Suriya’s Telugu debut, but nothing has been confirmed so far. It is now being said that Suriya’s Telugu movie has finally been locked. Chandoo Mondeti, of the Karthikeya movie franchise fame, is said to direct this film, which is reportedly going to be based on the four Hindu Vedas.
Chandoo is currently busy with his film with Naga Chaitanya, and Suriya is busy with his commitments. Thus, this film is expected to go on floors once the director and the actor are done with their current commitments. The movie is going to be produced under the GA2 pictures banner, and is expected to be released some time next year, on a pan-Indian scale.
