Hiranyakashyapa controversy comes to an end?

Way back in 1967, the film Bhakta Prahlada was made, which is the story of Hiranyakashyapa and his son Prahlada, with the latter being a devotee of Lord Vishnu, and Lord Vishnu coming in the form of Narasimha avatar to kill Hiranyakashyapa. It is an age old story of the Hindu religion, which is very well known.

Rana Daggubati decided to retell this story to the modern audeince, from Hiranyakashyapa’s perspective, with him playing the titular role. The film was initially set to be directed by Gunasekhar, but it has now been taken up by Trivikram, which resulted in a lot of controversy, due to Gunasekhar’s words.

On the other hand, Rana recently released a concept art video from his own production house, and it is also being said that the film is inspired by the comic books of Amar Chitra Katha, with Amar Chitra Katha producing the film. Considering all of this, and the fact that the story of Hiranyakashyapa is an old one, the controversies should come to an end.
