Since the beginning itself, there were massive expectations on Pushpa 2, given that the first part of the film turned out to be a massive success. As such, director Sukumar took a year to work on the script of the second part of the film, to make sure that the second part turns out to be a grand success.
Now, following the National Award for Allu Arjun’s performance in the film, and for DSP’s music, the pressure on the makers has only increased exponentially. It is already known that the producers of Pushpa have given full freedom to director Sukumar, creatively, and also from a production perspective, with no limitations to the budget.
As such, it is now being said that the director has decided to once again go through the script of the film and make any necessary changes, following the National Award. The movie is scheduled to be released for the summer of 2024, and will have all the original cast returning, along with some new cast members.
