The very first teaser of Prabhas’s Adipurush was received poorly by the audience due to the poor visual effects, and everyone doubted the makers with respect to how true they were to the original Ramayana. While the trailer of the film was much better than the teaser, which helped in increasing the buzz surrounding the film, the movie turned out to be disastrous upon release.
The way Ravana was shown in the film was highly criticized and certain choices when it came to the screenplay, story, and depiction, have all turned out to be bad. The dialogue of the film have also been drawing a lot of ire from the audience.
It is now being said that director Om Raut had planned to release the film in two parts, and tried to convince Prabhas of the same. However, it was because of the actor’s stern no that the makers and the director chose to release the movie in just a single part. Had the makers gone ahead with releasing the film in two parts, then it would have been an even biggesr disaster.
