Oftentimes, when working with a top actor in the industry, directors and producers can tend to overlook the story and the contents of the film, believing blindly that the audiences will watch pretty much anything that they are served.
As such, the makers of BRO seemed to have just blindly believed that they could do whatever they want, and failed to incorporate a proper story into the film, just adding pieces of Pawan’s old films into the mix, blindly believing that people would accept what they gave them.
This strategy backfired in their faces for them, or so it seems, with the film not performing well at the box office. Moreover, there wasn’t much of a buzz surrounding the film since day one, as it is a remake of the Tamil film Vinodhaya Sitham. That said, audiences have not been showing much of an interest in watching remake films, as they have already seen the original versions. BRO is surely a huge lesson for all filmmakers, who hopefully learn something from it.
