Opinion: Bholaa Shankar too boring and monotonous

Megastar Chiranjeevi is a brand all by himself, given that he’s given several successful films throughout his career, and continues to work hard even at this age, releasing two movies every year. The actor recently delivered the biggest hit of his career, in the form of Waltair Veerraju, which was released for this year’s Sankranthi.

He is currently gearing up for the release of Bholaa Shankar, directed by Meher Ramesh, which is a remake of the Tamil film Vedhalam, and the trailer of the film was released earlier today. The film’s trailer doesn’t offer anything new and just teases a story that has already been seen several times in many Telugu movies before.

Moreover, Chiru’s style or dialogues or their delivery aren’t that attractive either, with everything seeming to be very routine and run of the film. Even the background score of the trailer and the songs that have been released so far from the film have failed to impress the audiences. Having said that, it is to be seen how well the movie will perform at the box office, given that there’s not much buzz surrounding the film right now.
