His latest movie Jailer, which was released recently, turned out to be a massive success, and he is currently busy shooting for his next, Laal Salaam, after which he will team up with director Gananvel, of Jai Bhim fame. It is already known that the legendary Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in this film, marking his collaboration with Rajni, after three decades.
It is now being said that Telugu actor Sharwanand is in talks to play a key role in this film. Given that he is a familiar face to the Tamil audiences, the director is said to be keen on casting him for the role. Sahrwanand is currently busy with his 35th film, directed by Sriram Adittya. It is going to be very interesting to see him alongside Rajni, if this news turns out to be true, for sure.
