In the first half of this year, except for ‘Guntur Kaaram’, none of the films starring top protagonists made much buzz. Senior heroes Nagarjuna and Venkatesh starrer ‘Naa Saami Ranga, Saindhav’ hit the Sankranthi ring. Of these, ‘Naa Saami Ranga’ seemed a little out of place. However.. in the second half, there is going to be a fair of star hero movies. Pan India movies featuring top protagonists are queuing up for theatres.
The first of these is rebel star Prabhas’ ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. ‘Kalki’ is going to release worldwide on June 27. Director Nag Ashwin has made this movie brand new with a story that has never been seen on the Indian screen. In an unexpected way, Nag Ashwin has shared a huge cast like Prabhas from Tollywood, Kamal from Kollywood, Amitabh from Bollywood in this movie. Also.. Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani are going to be seen as heroines in this movie.C. Ashwini Dutt is producing this film under the prestigious Vyjayanthi Movies banner with a huge budget.
Although it is a Tamil film, the movie ‘Bharateeyudu 2’ will be released on a huge scale in Telugu as well. The film is being made as a sequel to the 1996 smash hit ‘Bharateeyudu’. In this movie, actor Kamal Haasan is once again going to make noise on the silver screen as a general who tramples on corruption. Directed by Shankar,‘Bharateeyudu 2’ is slated to release on July 12 in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages.
Icon star Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2’ is coming to entertain the audience in August. With ‘Pushpa 1.. The Rise’ being a huge success, expectations for ‘Pushpa 2.. The Rule’ are sky high. If we talk about the highlight sequences in this movie, the fair episode will stand as something special. Director creative genius Sukumar has designed the entire episode to make the audience sit on the edge of the seat, with fights and songs in that sequence lasting about 15 minutes.Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings are jointly producing ‘Pushpa 2’.
Natural star Nani’s ‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’ is also going to hit the audience in August itself. Currently, Nani is one of the stars who are having a good success rate in Telugu. This movie is being directed by Vivek Atreya, who has already done films like ‘Ante.. Sundaraaniki’ with Nani. D.V.V. Produced by Entertainments, ‘Saripodhaa Sanivaaram’ is going to hit the audience on August 29.
As for September.. Tamil Dalapathy Vijay starrer ‘Goat’ has been finalized on September 5. This movie directed by Venkat Prabhu is going to create buzz in Telugu as well.
And.. Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s most awaited movie ‘OG’ is also going to make noise in September itself. The release date of ‘Attarintiki Daaredhi’, which previously gave Pawan Kalyan a blockbuster, has been finalized on September 27, while the release date of ‘OG’ has been finalized.
Not only in Pawan Kalyan’s films, but in the entire film industry, the talk that ‘OG’ will set a new standard in terms of action sequences is heard loudly in the industry circles.
