Many Malayalam actresses have debuted in Telugu already, and almost everyone has managed to create a good space for themselves in the industry, and are also enjoying a good fanbase.
Now, another Malayalam actress is set to make her Tollywood debut. It is Darshana Rajendran, who became famous with her role in Hridayam. She gained a good following among Telugu audiences with that film, and ever since then, there have been speculations about her Tollywood entry.
It has now been confirmed that she has signed her first film, to be directed by Praveen Kandregula of Cinema Bandi fame. She will reportedly be sharing screen space with Anupama Parameswaran in the film.
