As is the case with every month, there were a number of film releases in the month of May this year. Many had good and decent expectations, and a few had high expectations. With that being said, there have only been very few winners in May, and here’s an overview of May.
Ramabanam, Ugram, Bhuvana Vijayam, Katha Venuka Katha, Custody, and Anni Manchi Sakunamule are some of the most notable films that were released among a wide pool of films, in May, in Telugu.There were decent expectations on Ramabanam, Custody, and AMS. However, these three films ended up getting bad talk and sub-par collections.
Ugram was the better film of the lot, with Naresh’s performance in the movie being praised and hailed, and the concept of the film being received well by the audience. With May turning out to be underwhelming, it is to be seen how June will be.
