Aamir Khan’s son’s first film in controversy

The successor of Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan is coming. His son Junaid Khan’s debut film ‘Maharaj’ is slated for release. However.. not in theatres.. ‘Maharaj’ is getting ready for streaming from June 14 on Netflix. And.. this movie got caught in controversies even before its release.

Based on Maharaj’s libel case of 1862, the movie ‘Maharaj’ is based on real events. The film revolves around the story of a priest who faces sexual allegations. Jaideep Ahlawat, Shalini Pandey and Sharvari played other important roles in this movie. Siddharth P Malhotra directed this movie under the production of Yash Raj Films.

However.. According to the publicity pictures released so far, the film has scenes that insult Hinduism.. Vishwa Hindu Parishad has written a letter to the production company Yash Raj Films asking them to show the film before its release. Similar controversies have arisen in the case of Aamir Khan starrer ‘P.K’. Junaid Khan lost almost 26 kg weight for the movie ‘Maharaj’ and got a new makeover..
