As per the latest reports, Nikhil and the producers of Spy are at odds with each other, over the release date, as the producers want to release the film on June 29th, and Nikhil doesn’t want to, as there’s not enough time for promotions.
Ignoring Nikhil’s choice, the producers have reportedly gone ahead with wanting to release the film on June 29th, and since they paid no heed to him, Nikhil is said to have decided to stay away from the promotions. However, ti looks like it might be a costly mistake for the actor as it is his film in the end, and he will be affected if it doesn’t do well.
