Virupaksha is the recently released supernatural horror mystery film helmed by Karthik Varma Dandu. The project is minting really well at the box office. The film has received positive reviews from critics and as per trends it is here to stay.Directed by debutant Karthik Dandu, a protege of director Sukumar, Virupaksha was starring Sai Dharam Tej and Samyuktha Menon was released on April 21, all over the world.
The movie marks the comeback of Sai Dharam Tej after a deadly accident and also is his first pan-India film. Virupaksha was made as a Telugu flavored film and it was released as a Telugu film depsite announcing it as Pan India film before it’s release in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
The box office collections for Virupaksha are also record-breaking. The movie made the career’s highest pre-release business for the actor from the mega compound. The screenplay was handled by Sukumar and he is the one responsible for unexpected twists in the mystery thriller.
As per the latest information, it is heard that Sukumar has earned Rs.6 crores for his major contribution to the film. Sukumar who took care of the script and screenplay, is responsible for crucial twists in Virupaksha. Sukumar hasn’t invested in the film but he will share the profits for his contribution to the script.
Bhogavalli Bapineedu and BVSN Prasad produced the movie along with Sukumar under the Sri Venkateshwara Cine Chitra and Sukumar Writings banner. Shamdat worked as the cinematographer and Naveen Nooli worked as the Editor for the mystery thriller.
